The Side Effects
I was looking into this animation which was information about David Bowie and his life, but not only that it was mostly about the effects that drugs had on people. In this animation, they have created the links with the lightning flashes. What I found interesting about this animation was the use of very simple colours, they only use a very small range, but I think this make the piece more effective. The animation is called The Side Effects and that is exactly what this animation does it, it is showing the mental breakdown and effects that drugs have on the brain. I think this is an informative animation that does just that, inform by using a voice over and imagery that works well together even through the dark theme that is being illustrated.
